North Korea launched a ballistic missile, Japan said

    North Korea allegedly launched a ballistic missile, according to the Japanese Coast Guard.

    "According to the Ministry of Defense, North Korea has launched, presumably, a ballistic missile. The vessels are urged to monitor subsequent information and, in case of detection of debris, not to approach them, but to report relevant information to the coast guard," the message says.

    According to the South Korean Yonhap news agency, with reference to the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), the DPRK launched a ballistic missile towards the Sea of Japan.

    Last week, North Korea launched the latest intercontinental ballistic missile "Hwasong-19", reports ria.ru.
