The Rais of Tatarstan stressed that strengthening friendly ties between Russia and the countries of Asia and the East is one of the priorities. Tatarstan is trying to contribute to this process at its own level. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev recently visited Kazan. During the visit, promising areas for further development of cooperation were identified. Interaction in the field of culture occupies an important place in this work.
