More than three thousand police officers worked at the 65-year-old singer's concert, which lasted more than two hours.
The state and city authorities note that they spent about 20 million reals ($3.94 million) to organize the concert. The remaining expenses were covered by private investors. According to preliminary estimates, the concert attracted about 300 million reals (59.14 million dollars) to the economy of Rio de Janeiro.
