As previously reported, within the framework of the ICANN 2024 event, the delegation of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is negotiating with a number of countries to launch air services in new directions.

During the negotiations with the United Republic of Tanzania, the parties discussed issues related to the establishment of freight and passenger transportation between the two countries.

As a result of negotiations between the two countries, an agreement was signed on the launch of passenger flights 21 times a week and endless air cargo transportation.

Tanzania is a completely new destination for Uzbekistan. The country attracts the attention of tourists with its temperate weather conditions, the island of Zanzibar with clear waters capable of competing with the Maldives, savannas in the wild and the adventurous Climanjaro mountains, as well as traders of coffee, tea, cocoa, flowers and tropical fruits.

This, in turn, is an excellent opportunity for travel companies and airlines of Uzbekistan to develop the flow of transit tourists. It will also open new doors for the Tourism Committee and airlines to organize pilgrimage tourism to Uzbekistan for the people of Tanzania.
