In particular, salt was laid out in the Surkhan State Reserve of the Surkhandarya region to maintain the natural food balance of herbivorous animals. As part of the events, more than 18 tons of salt were distributed in different parts of the reserve. The reserve consists of 7 branches and 10 bypass routes, and these activities are being implemented in stages throughout its territory.

In addition, the staff of the Zaamin State Reserve of the Jizzakh region conducted biotechnological measures aimed at improving the living conditions of wild animals. Due to the difficulties in finding natural food due to heavy snowfall, additional food was delivered and placed at pre-determined feeding points.

Biotechnological measures are also being carried out in the Saigachiy integrated (landscape) reserve in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Nizhny Amudarya State Biosphere Reserve, as well as in the Kyzylkum State Reserve located in the Bukhara and Khorezm regions. Feeding grounds have been created in these protected areas, where feed and grain are laid out. In particular, additional feeding of Bukhara deer was organized in the Nizhny Amudarya Reserve.

For reference: biotechnological activities are continuing in all protected natural areas of the country. They are aimed at preserving wildlife, maintaining biodiversity and ensuring ecological balance.
