    At least 25 people have died as a result of flooding in southern Thailand. This was reported by the Bangkok Post newspaper.

    According to the Department for Disaster Prevention and Response, prolonged torrential rains in the southern provinces led to flooding of about 3.7 thousand settlements. A total of more than 660 thousand households were affected by the consequences of the disaster.
