At the meeting, the high potential of youth, who make up 60% of the population of our country, was recognized, and the issue of attracting Uzbek youth to the OSCE Academy, located in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, was discussed.
The parties discussed interuniversity cooperation, promotion of the rule of law among students, parliamentary elections to be held in October this year in our country, joint work on regional issues and plans for the future.
"The OSCE is ready to support the government of Uzbekistan in all its initiatives," Antti Karttunen said.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue joint practical work.
