It should be noted that a number of projects are being implemented jointly with UNDP aimed at ensuring gender equality and increasing the social and political activity of women.

During the meeting, the state of implementation of the joint project "Achieving equality by supporting the implementation of the National Gender Strategy of Uzbekistan", implemented by the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republics of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Development Program, as well as prospects for cooperation were discussed.

It was noted that last year in Uzbekistan, the Concept of Studying the future prospects of Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (Foresight) was developed, a national expert group was formed, workshops and surveys were conducted for the Customs Committee as part of the implementation of the global program "Gender Equality Sign for public Institutions", implementation monitoring and target indicators were developed (sub-indicators) of the gender strategy.

During the dialogue, the main directions of the project for 2024 were considered. The focus was on such issues as increasing the potential of members of the National Platform of Women Leaders, as well as women leaders in reserve, strengthening their activity in political life, improving the leadership qualities of representatives of political parties and local Kangashes.

In addition, during the conversation, a comprehensive exchange of views took place on strengthening cooperation in the implementation of the Strategy for Achieving Gender Equality in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030, jointly implemented projects and international events.
