At the beginning of the dialogue, it was emphasized that cooperation between the two countries has significantly accelerated in recent years, and mutual trust and friendly relations have been elevated to the level of strategic partnership.

It was noted that the commonality of historical, traditional, and cultural values, which bind the peoples of the two countries together, plays an important role in the development of inter-state relations.

The parties also paid special attention to expanding economic cooperation, further developing inter-regional and trade ties between the business communities of the two countries.

During the dialogue, the declaration of 2026 as the Year of Culture, Science, and Innovations between Uzbekistan and Hungary was also noted, and the parties exchanged views on holding a series of major events in both states.

Furthermore, the parties exchanged views on consistently developing inter-parliamentary relations and strengthening mutual cooperation through the implementation of agreements reached at the level of heads of state, reported by the Oliy Majlis Senate Press Service.
