Several changes in the legislation of Uzbekistan in various spheres will come into force at once.
Social sphere
Short-term vocational training courses for people with disabilities will be held quarterly in vocational schools, colleges and technical schools in all regions.
For them, the Ministry of Labor organizes training courses on teaching professions in demand in the labor market, foreign languages, computer literacy and the basics of programming on a permanent basis in the “Ishga Marhamat” mono-centers.
Information about orphans and children deprived of parental care, listed in the "Mehr Daftari" ("Book of Mercy"), will be revealed through the interdepartmental integration platform of the "Electronic Government" system.
Tax sphere
Fiscal symbols will be applied to electronic receipts from distance trading.
The requirement of mandatory display of the fiscal mark automatically generated and integrated with the information systems of tax authorities in electronic checks of transactions (with the exception of "P2P", credit payments) for trade and paid services carried out remotely through electronic payment services (including mobile applications), as well as information systems of electronic commercial platforms - "marketplaces" is established.
Tourism
The Tourism and Sports Support Fund will receive additional monthly transfers from the budget.
Due to the suspension from September 1, 2021 of the calculation and payment of tourist fees (hotel fees), which are the main source of funding for the Tourism and Sports Support Fund, the Ministry of Finance will allocate 2.5 billion soums from the State Budget to the Fund monthly until January 1, 2023.
Ecology
The post of deputy administration of the territory is being introduced, which will deal not only with construction, communications, utilities, but also ecology and landscaping.
Pharmaceuticals
The Fund for the Support and Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry will cover 75% of the costs of manufacturing organizations for the registration of pharmaceutical products in foreign countries after the submission of a document confirming its registration.
Fish farming
Individuals are allowed to raise fish in their households as a self-employed person.
In addition, starting from February 1, 2022 to January 1, 2025, manufacturers of fish farming equipment are provided with a number of benefits.
In particular, the tax rates on income tax, land tax and property tax of legal entities, as well as tax for the use of water resources, are reduced by 50 percent.
For owners of households engaged in fish farming, the rates of land tax and property tax are also reduced by half.
Anti-corruption
An experiment is being launched to introduce a rating assessment system into the activities of 26 state organizations implementing an anti-corruption management system in their activities. This system will be introduced from July 1 in all government agencies.
Education
Teachers of the Russian language with an international certificate S1 and above will begin to receive an additional monthly allowance of 50%.
It will be paid within two years from the date of receipt of the certificate.
For non-state educational institutions in the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand, from February 1, 2022 to January 1, 2024, the procedure for reimbursement of rent of buildings and structures used in the educational process at the expense of the State Budget is introduced.
Its size is up to 50% of the cost, but not more than 50% of the minimum rental rate for the use of state real estate.
And colleges and technical schools of the system of ministries and departments are exempt from rent (with the exception of maintenance and utility bills) when carrying out activities in their buildings and structures, "Review" reports.
