During the
meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation with the IAEA in the field
of building a national nuclear energy infrastructure, developing nuclear
medicine and training qualified personnel for the industry.
Special
attention was paid to further strengthening cooperation with the agency and the
implementation of joint projects aimed at the development of peaceful atom in
Uzbekistan.
