The International Youth Environmental Camp continues its work in Samarkand.

On the second day, the session "Youth participation in the process of climate management and climate action in the world" was held, where participants presented presentations and shared their experience in participating in global international conventions, as well as talked about environmental projects.

"The International Youth Environmental Camp is being organized for the second time. The importance of this lies in the fact that the environmental camp unites young people not only from the Asian region, but also from all over the world on the way to preserving the environment. In the camp, eco-activists pay attention to current environmental issues, express their solutions and suggestions. Of course, the voice and the role of youth are important in nature conservation. And the ecological camp serves to make this sound even louder," said Anvar Temirov, head of the Department of the Ministry of Ecology.

Eco-activists also talked about environmental projects that touch on important issues.

"One of the main projects involving youth in Kyrgyzstan is the National project "Jashyl Uras". More than 5,000 young people from all regions of the country unite to plant seedlings to increase the area of the country's forests," said Omar Dairov, an eco-activist from Kyrgyzstan.

Then the participants of the eco-camp were divided into groups and took part in the interactive game "Diplomacy". The aim of the game is to simulate the UN climate change negotiations, where each group represented a specific country and its attitude to the problem of climate change.

It is worth noting that environmentally literate youth is the key to preserving natural resources and biodiversity for future generations. Thus, environmental education of young people is a key factor in the transition to sustainable development of society, which is an important investment in the environmental safety of the country and the entire planet.

The eco-camp will last until March 30.
