A memorandum was signed between the Youth Parliament and the Tashkent City Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan

    On August 14 of this year, senior officials of the Tashkent City Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and youth leaders of primary organizations of higher educational institutions of the Union visited the Senate.

    At the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Youth Parliament under the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and the Tashkent City Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan.

    The main purpose of the memorandum is cooperation in the implementation of state youth policy and the formation of legal knowledge and skills among young people, the involvement of students and youth in public monitoring of legislative processes and the implementation of regulatory legal acts, regular joint events such as seminars, conferences and round tables.

    The memorandum stipulates that the Youth Parliament will cooperate with the Youth Union in a number of areas.

    These include improving the legal literacy of students of higher educational institutions, solving problems and proposals together with responsible organizations, and developing media projects in a political and legal spirit.

    After the meeting, the participants got acquainted with the Senate building and its activities, received detailed information about the goals, objectives and organizational structure of the Youth Parliament.
