The delegation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan presented an extensive program in Sydney, including reports on the country's achievements in the field of space technology and plans for the future. Within the framework of the congress, strategic meetings were held with the space agencies of Europe, Asia and America. Promising projects on the application of digital solutions in space monitoring, agriculture and ecology were discussed.
The leadership of the International Astronautical Federation highly appreciated the scientific potential of Uzbekistan, the interest of young people in the space sector and the ongoing work on infrastructure development, supporting the initiative to hold IAC-2028 in Samarkand.
It is expected that the upcoming event will become a powerful incentive for scientific and technical cooperation and bring tangible economic benefits. Thus, the current congress in Sydney has provided an influx of 42 million Australian dollars (about 27 million US dollars) into the country's economy.
The IAC in Samarkand will attract more than 10,000 foreign participants and create new opportunities for the development of tourism, services, entrepreneurship and international exhibitions.
