The country’s Constitution enshrined building a social state in Uzbekistan. By this, priority attention is paid to education. Along with building new educational institutions, great importance is attached to improving education content.
This year, school No. 32 underwent a major overhaul. The school is designed for 782 students. Modern conditions have been created in 22 classrooms, a gym, a canteen, a STEM laboratory, and computer science classrooms. The library contains more than 1.5 thousand art books.
As is known, teaching young people at least two foreign languages and one modern profession is defined as the main direction of reforms in school education. On the unused territory of the school, additional premises were built from lightweight structures, and conditions were created for teaching 15 different professions. Students receive initial skills in IT, maintenance, weaving, hairdressing, cosmetology, pottery, and wood carving.
The President visited these courses and talked with children participating in summer clubs.
“We are expanding the coverage of higher education. However, not everyone chooses to study at the university. Therefore, we aim to ensure that our children start learning foreign languages and professions from school. A person who has mastered at least one profession will not be lost. He can further work on himself and improve his skills. Therefore, our goal is to create decent conditions for every young person”, the Head of state said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also talked with teachers and labor veterans.
