According to the National Statistics Committee, in January 2025, 678.7 thousand foreign citizens entered the Republic of Uzbekistan for tourist purposes.
Compared to the corresponding period last year, their number increased by 158.5 thousand people or by 30.5%.

visiting relatives - 461,277 people;
staff - 88,336 people;
travel - 75,392 people;
commercial - 41,196 people;
treatment - 8,966 people;
Education - 3,508.
According to the data provided by the Statistics Agency, the permanent population as of October 1, 2024 amounted to more than 37.3 million people, including 18.8 million men and 18.5 million women.
According to the UNESCO Institute of Statistics, as of January 1, 2023, the number of students from Uzbekistan studying abroad amounted to 150.5 thousand people.
