The delegation of St. Petersburg visited Tashkent

    On November 7, a delegation of St. Petersburg consisting of representatives of executive, trade, economic, cultural and business circles under the leadership of the Governor of the Northern Capital Alexander Beglov visited Tashkent.

    According to the press service of the capital's khokimiyat, an eventful day was waiting for the guests, the first item of the program of which was the business forum of interregional cooperation.

    Guests from St. Petersburg took part in the solemn ceremony of laying wreaths at the memorial of Military Glory at the Volgograd cemetery, at the memorial plate dedicated to the Uzbek soldiers who defended Leningrad during the war, as well as at the memorial "Ode to Perseverance".

    The Russian delegation visited the Situation Center created on the Digital Tashkent platform, where they were shown the possibilities of operational management of city services and methods of obtaining analytical materials for forecasting.

    The ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the monument "Leningrad Monument" was held in the Victory Park in the capital as a sign of gratitude to the Uzbek people who received the evacuated residents of besieged Leningrad.

    After a tour of the Memorial Complex in the literary cafe of the Museum of Glory, members of the delegation met with residents of besieged Leningrad living in Tashkent.
