During the meeting, the progress of the implementation of the agreements reached following the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan in April this year was discussed.
The issues of the construction of a hydroelectric power station on the Zarafshan River, as well as the further activation of the joint Uzbek-Tajik investment company, were considered in a separate order. In this context, the parties agreed on a number of priority areas for joint implementation of projects involving the Fund's funds.
As a result of the negotiations, a format of close cooperation was developed within the framework of accelerated implementation of the discussed projects and initiatives.
