Red Cross workers injured after Israeli strike in southern Lebanon

    Israeli aircraft struck the site of search and rescue operations in the city of Nabatiya in southern Lebanon, three ambulance personnel were injured.

    As the Report reports with reference to foreign media, this was reported in a statement by the Lebanese Red Cross on the social network "X".

    "Four ambulances were sent to evacuate the wounded and search for the dead. When rescuers arrived at the scene, a second blow was struck. Three Red Cross employees were injured," the statement reads.

    According to the Red Cross, after the airstrike on one of the Nabatiya districts, the Red Cross coordinated the departure of ambulance crews to the site with UN peacekeepers in southern Lebanon.
