At the same time, the share of CIS countries in total foreign trade turnover decreased by 7.5% in January 2024 compared to the corresponding period in 2023, and the share of other foreign countries increased by 7.5% respectively and amounted to 65.5%.
The foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the CIS countries increased by 6.0% in January this year and amounted to $1.4 billion, of which: exports increased by 8.1% to $524.4 million, and imports - by 4.8% to $923.8 billion.
The largest shares in foreign trade turnover with the CIS countries were occupied by: Russia (53%), Kazakhstan (19%), Turkmenistan (4%) and Kyrgyzstan (3%).
