In particular, the Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association, A. Sultanov, met with the Chairman of the Malaysian Leather Industry Association and discussed issues of further development of cooperation between the two countries in the leather industry.

During the negotiations, issues of strengthening bilateral trade and economic relations, the implementation of new joint projects, exports and imports were comprehensively considered. The Chairman of the Malaysian Leather Industry Association offered to participate in the international exhibition "UzCharmExpo-EurAsia-2025" in Uzbekistan with the national stand of Malaysia.

This will be an excellent opportunity for Malaysian manufacturers to present their products on the Uzbek market and communicate directly with Uzbek partners.

In turn, the Malaysian colleagues expressed interest in investing in Uzbekistan and cooperating with local enterprises. This opens up new technologies, investments and market access for the Uzbek leather industry.

The agreements reached as a result of these negotiations marked the beginning of a new stage of cooperation between the two countries in the leather industry.
