Issues of agreements at the highest level, joint breeding of livestock, creation of meat processing facilities in Uzbekistan, etc. were discussed on the agenda.
"We attach special importance to strengthening trade relations. In January-September of this year, mutual supplies of agricultural and food products were increased by more than 2.5 times and reached almost 3 million US dollars. We are interested in continuing to increase the volume of meat imports from Mongolia, and we propose to increase the supply of Uzbek fruits and vegetables, in particular grapes, melons, cabbage, apricots, as well as food products such as confectionery and bakery products, wines and others," Aziz Voitov said.
The ministers also discussed the creation of joint farms in Mongolia for cattle breeding and subsequent export of meat to Uzbekistan and the creation of joint processing facilities in Uzbekistan.
