During the meetings, agreements were reached on intensifying cooperation to resume the status of a beneficiary of the GSP program for Uzbekistan, organizing the 7th meeting of the working group on our country's accession to the WTO, creating a joint advisory platform to eliminate barriers to mutual trade, as well as launching the negotiation process on the preparation of intergovernmental agreements on mutual protection of investments and avoidance of double taxation.

It is also planned to deepen cooperation in such priority areas as the "green agenda", the development of "human capital", support for the private sector, the introduction of PPP mechanisms, reducing the role of the state in the economy, privatization, the development of small and medium-sized businesses.

Negotiations were also held with the leadership of the American Clothing and Footwear Association, corporations Starlink, Medtronic, Colourizd, Pfizer, B2Gold, Morgan Stanley, Akin Gump, Cerberus Frontier and other large companies.

The issues of attracting direct US investments to Uzbekistan in projects on privatization of banks, chemical enterprises and cellular communication companies, implementation of projects for the production of innovative vaccines, construction of solar and wind power plants, introduction of advanced software and technologies in the textile industry of Uzbekistan were agreed.
