On March 26, 2024, within the framework of the MRO Central Asia repair and maintenance conference and exhibition, which is taking place these days in Tashkent, the management company Uzbekistan Airports and the Italian company EU Wings Srl2, specializing in aircraft maintenance, signed a memorandum of understanding.
The document marked the beginning of cooperation between the two companies.
According to the memorandum, the parties intend to work out and make proposals in the near future on the creation of a joint venture at Navoi Airport, which will provide services for basic maintenance and repair of aircraft, as well as line maintenance of aircraft at other international airports in Uzbekistan.
