The meeting discussed issues of training IT specialists, facilitating their employment at the international level, financial support for local startups, as well as the development of plans for the development of the IT sector.

Following the meeting, an agreement on cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar in the field of information technology was signed. This agreement will help strengthen partnership in the field of IT, digital economy and innovation.

For reference: Invest Qatar (The Investment Promotion Agency Qatar) was established in 2019 and is engaged in attracting foreign investment to Qatar, as well as developing the country's economy. In addition, Invest Qatar participated in ICTWeek 2024 as a regional partner, which helped strengthen investment ties in the region.
