The delegation of Kazakh colleagues was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Logistics Board of JSC NC "Kazakhstan Temir Joly" E. Koishibayev.
During the negotiations between the parties, issues of increasing the volume of cargo transportation, providing tariff benefits, receiving and transmitting trains, exchanging information through mutual information systems, and digitalization were discussed.
The parties agreed to carry out long-term mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in order to create favorable conditions for the transportation of goods through the territories of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, primarily through a preliminary agreement on the provision of mutually beneficial tariff benefits and their application for the coming periods.
In order to continue the work on digitalization, it was agreed to hold videoconference meetings between the relevant specialists.
At the end of the negotiations, a corresponding protocol was signed between the parties, the information and analytical media center of Uzbekistan Temir Yullari JSC reports.
