Uzbekistan will take part in the XXV International Theater Festival "Meetings in Russia" in St. Petersburg

    From April 7 to 16, the XXV International Theater Festival "Meetings in Russia" will be held in St. Petersburg. It will be attended by leading Russian-speaking theater groups from 10 neighboring countries - Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Abkhazia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Russia.

    In 2023, the cultural forum is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of A. N. Ostrovsky, the press service of Rossotrudnichestvo reports.

    On April 15, the State Academic Russian Drama Theater of Uzbekistan will show the play "Bankrupt, or Your own people - we will settle accounts." The director of photography is Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Shapiro.

    In addition, the festival participants will discuss performances, take part in discussions, master classes in stage speech and acting, classes for specialists of the production part of the theater.

    Also available for viewing will be a photo exhibition of performances of Russian theaters of the CIS countries "Twenty-five years together", which will tell about the most interesting productions.
