Uzbekistan strongly condemned the terrorist act in Afghanistan

    Uzbekistan strongly condemned the terrorist act committed on November 30, 2022 in the Afghan city of Aybak, Samangan province. This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

    "We strongly condemn the terrorist act committed on November 30, 2022 in the Afghan city of Aybak, Samangan province. The cynical outing in the madrasah "Jihadiya" led to numerous human casualties, mainly among the students.

    We once again declare that such violent actions provoke an escalation of tension and hinder the establishment of sustainable and long-term peace, as well as the achievement of national accord in Afghanistan.

    We express our sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, and also wish a speedy recovery to the injured," the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reads.
