Uzbek State Musical Theater named after Mukimi was awarded two awards at the TURKSOY Festival

    The III TURKSOY International Theater Festival has ended in Aktau, Kazakhstan. The event took place from September 21 to 26 and brought together theater groups from seven countries: Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Hungary.

    In his speech, TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev highly appreciated the organization of the festival and the contribution of the participants, Dunyo news agency reports.

    During the ceremony, Honored Artist of Tajikistan, director, actor and playwright Barzu Abdurazakov was awarded the honorary badge of TURKSOY.

    Uzbekistan presented the Mukimi State Musical Theater at the festival. The artists performed the play "Kobil ila Khobil", dedicated to the cultural interaction of the Turkic peoples. The production was warmly welcomed by both experts and the audience.

    Following the results of the festival, the Mukimi Theater was recognized as the winner in two nominations: "Best Musical Drama"; The award "For the musical design of the play".
