It is worth noting that the Ministry condemns such events as the launch of plastic toys, balloons and other similar actions that cause environmental pollution with garbage. The Ministry has repeatedly stressed that such cases are prohibited and entail responsibility.

In particular, it was previously reported that 10 thousand plastic ducks were going to be released in the New Uzbekistan Park. The Ministry reacted sharply to this situation, as a result of which the event was canceled.

However, unfortunately, some entrepreneurs and social media activists who are indifferent to environmental conservation continue to hold events such as balloon launches.

To prevent such situations, the Ministry of Ecology takes various measures. In particular, it is proposed to increase customs duties on the import of balloons to Uzbekistan by 10 times, introduce a recycling requirement for those wishing to hold events such as balloon launches in our country, as well as increase the price of balloons 100 times higher than the established one.

The Ministry of Ecology advocates strengthening public control to prevent such situations. Therefore, we urge all compatriots who are not indifferent to the preservation of the environment not to allow such events and not to take part in them.
