During an inspection of an Isuzu truck en route from Samarkand to Tashkent, it turned out that citizen A.U. was transporting 1,000 boxes of medicines totaling 588.5 million soums without proper documents.
He intended to sell them to citizen G.B., who was illegally involved in the sale of medicines in Tashkent.
The prohibited drugs were seized as physical evidence.
A criminal case has been opened on this fact under articles 25 and 186-3 of the Criminal Code (production, manufacture, purchase, storage, transportation or sale of substandard or falsified medicines and medical devices for the purpose of sale). Investigative actions are underway.
