Cooperation between the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Prosecutor's Office of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is expanding

    At the invitation of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a delegation of the Prosecutor's Office of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, headed by Prosecutor General Sheikh Saud Abdullah Al Muajib, paid a working visit to Uzbekistan.

    During the visit, on November 7 of this year, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev met with the Prosecutor General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Saud Abdullah Al Muajib.

    During the constructive dialogue, the parties discussed issues of legal interaction, as well as promising areas for further development of cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the two states.

    In addition, Prosecutor General N. Yuldashev familiarized the guests with the large-scale reforms carried out in the country under the leadership of the Head of State in social, economic, judicial, legal and other spheres.

    Following the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Prosecutor's Office of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

    The heads of delegations expressed confidence that this document will become a new impetus for the further development of interdepartmental cooperation.

    In general, the meeting was held in a businesslike and friendly atmosphere.

    During the visit, the guests visited the museum of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and got acquainted with the long-term history of the department, its experience and activities.

    Currently, the visit of the delegation of the Prosecutor's Office of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues.
