Uzbek-Turkish inter-ministerial political consultations were held in Istanbul

    On May 20, 2024, the next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Turkey took place in Istanbul.

    The delegations of the parties were headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrahimov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Nuh Yilmaz.

    During the talks, the current state of Uzbek-Turkish cooperation and prospects for its further development were discussed. Special attention was paid to accelerating the implementation of agreements reached within the framework of the meeting of the intergovernmental joint commission, as well as the formation of the agenda of dialogues at the highest and high levels.

    Issues of developing cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as strengthening inter-parliamentary ties were discussed at the talks, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
