In order to control passenger traffic and improve the quality of passenger service on metro lines, the interval of train traffic during rush hours has been reduced. This is stated in the message of the State Unitary Enterprise "Toshkent Metro".

In particular, trains will run on the Chilanzar line - every 1.5-2 minutes, on the Uzbek line - 3-4 minutes, on the Yunusabad line - 5 minutes, and on the elevated ring metro line - 7-8 minutes.

The report notes that such measures have been taken due to an increase in the number of metro passengers. So, in September of this year, on the first school day, the number of passengers reached 520 thousand. This figure is 53% more than in August last year.

Also, the SUE "Toshkent Metro" asked passengers to comply with the rules for using the subway, which will have a positive impact on compliance with the train schedule.

"Passengers who regularly use the metro will save their time and minimize the congestion of people in front of the ticket offices if they pay with bank and transport cards," the message explains.

We are talking about not standing in front of the doors of the car before the exit of the passengers inside. In addition, as far as possible, move faster in order to get off the train after arriving at the destination, do not lean on the doors of the car, and also do not leave personal belongings in the car and the metro area.
