Tashkent hosted the International Festival of Chamber and Symphonic Music

    About a hundred foreign performers and creative teams from 13 countries of the world performed on the stages of the Turkiston Palace of Arts and the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan.

    The Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS member states and the State Philharmonic Society of Uzbekistan, the press service of the CIS Executive Committee reports.

    Among the participants are the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, the Omsk Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and the State Philharmonic Orchestra of the Kyrgyz Philharmonic named after Toktogul Satylganov, famous solo musicians from different countries: Lidia Kavina (flute, Great Britain), Shvabe Gabriel Adriano and Shtekel Julian (cello, Germany), Petrodarchi Mario Stefano (Bandoneon, Italy), Zuo Chang (piano, China), Nikita Mdoyants (piano, Russia), Yaroslav Nadritsky (violin, Poland), Erai Inal (conductor, Turkey), Rovshan Nepesov (conductor, Turkmenistan), Alisher Soliev (conductor, Tajikistan).

    The festival included 11 concerts and a number of master classes and creative meetings with leading experts in the field of musical culture.

    The festival presented a wide range of genres and styles - from works for organ and chamber orchestra to vocal compositions and solo performances by performers. It has become a unique platform for cultural cooperation and dialogue between different civilizations, peoples and nations.
