On March 15, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloev held a meeting with a delegation of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States headed by First Deputy Secretary General of the CIS Leonid Anfimov.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to take part in the informal CIS Summit
On December 13, the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva held a meeting with a delegation headed by the Chairman of the Board of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS countries, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation Polad Bulbul oglu. The delegation arrived in Uzbekistan to take part in the XV Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS countries.
Uzbekistan has entered the top three main trading partners of Russia among the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Dmitry Volvach, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Russian Federation, told about this at a meeting of the Council for Interregional and Cross-Border Cooperation of the Commonwealth member states.
On October 27, a meeting of the Permanent Commission of the IPA CIS on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology was held in Samarkand. The event was held within the framework of the autumn session of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, which is being held in Uzbekistan for the first time.
