On September 4, 2024, the CIS Conference on Combating Terrorism and Extremism and the SCO RATS International Scientific and Practical Conference began working together for the first time in Tashkent.
The Tenth International Scientific and Practical Conference of the SCO RATS and the Second CIS Conference on Combating Terrorism and extremism were opened in Tashkent.
A practical training session on preparation for the first stage of the joint anti-terrorist exercise of the competent authorities of the Commonwealth countries "Vostok-Antiterrorism - 2024", organized by the Anti-Terrorist Center of the CIS member states, took place in Tashkent.

In November 2024, Uzbekistan will host the Commonwealth Football Cup among youth teams. This decision was made at a meeting of the working group on the preparation and holding of the CIS championships in sports, which took place recently in Minsk.
On June 27, 2024, a regular meeting of the CIS Commission on Human Rights was held in St. Petersburg. It was attended by a member of this Commission, a representative of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) from the Republic of Uzbekistan Feruz Eshmatov.
From June 26 to 30, 2024, a Global Youth Festival will be held in five cities of Uzbekistan - Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Jizzakh and Khiva.
On June 19, the XXXVI meeting of the Interstate Council for Natural and Man-made Emergencies took place at the CIS headquarters in Minsk. The event was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the CIS Executive Committee, as well as members of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiaries to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth.
Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 06/10/2024 No. PP-214 "On approval of an international treaty" was adopted.
From June 25 to July 4, 2024, the IX International Cultural and Educational Forum "Children of the Commonwealth" will be held in Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyzstan), on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul.
