The delegations of the parties were headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.
The main topic on the agenda of the political consultations was the further expansion of the in-depth strategic partnership between the two countries. It was emphasized that the leaders of the two countries are laying a solid foundation for the continuation of high positive dynamics in Uzbek-Turkmen relations.
During the political consultations, goals in all areas of cooperation were also considered, as well as issues on the regional agenda, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
