During the meeting, Xavier highly appreciated the current pace of investment development in Uzbekistan and expressed interest in further expanding trade and economic ties between the two countries.
During the dialogue, special attention was paid to strengthening cooperation in the fields of education, tourism and culture, as well as the development of interregional ties.
It was also emphasized that Portugal is one of the countries closely cooperating with Uzbekistan within the framework of the European Union.
The parties agreed to further strengthen the practice of mutual support within the framework of international organizations.
