During the operational control in the Laylakkol mahalla of the Bayautsky district of the Syrdarya region, the fact of illegal detention of a bird of prey, a black vulture listed in the Red Book of Uzbekistan, by citizen Ya.A. in captivity was revealed.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Ecology, on this fact, an administrative protocol was drawn up against citizen Ya.A. under article 92 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a fine of 5 billion rubles was imposed - 1,875,000 soums.
After a medical examination of the black vulture's condition, the bird will be released into the wild.
