According to the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 26, 2024 No. 339 "On additional measures to stimulate greenhouse farms", greenhouses have the right to use natural gas on condition of timely payment.
"There are no restrictions on gas supplies for greenhouses. The owners of greenhouses can freely use natural gas by paying the established payments, the ministry clarified," the ministry noted.
In addition, the department recalled the procedure for paying for gas. In the first three months of the harvest year (October, November and December), greenhouses pay an advance payment of 50% of the total amount, and the rest until the end of the month. Starting from the following months, a 100% prepayment is required for each month.
