A new Deputy chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan has been appointed

    By decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Alimov Abror Mirzo Mukhammadkosimovich was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

    He is responsible for overseeing work on international cooperation, currency regulation, financial and economic activities, management of international reserves, storage and work with precious metals, and operational activities. He also coordinates the work of the Republican Currency Exchange.

    To date, A. Alimov has held the position of Director of the Department of Currency Regulation and Balance of Payments of the Central Bank.

    A. Alimov was born in 1988. In 2010 he graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with a bachelor's degree, and in 2012 with a master's degree. In 2020, he received a master's degree from Hitotsubashi University (Japan).

    He has 10 years of experience in the banking system.
