The meeting discussed issues of further strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Nations organization "UN Women" through the implementation of joint projects.

In particular, attention was paid to such areas as the expansion of economic opportunities for women and the development of women's entrepreneurship, ensuring their social protection, and creating decent jobs.

It was noted separately that Uzbekistan, as one of the most active countries in the world in ensuring gender equality, is implementing specific measures, including the Strategy for Achieving Gender Equality until 2030, and the tasks set in the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy correspond to the ideas of the United Nations.

During the conversation, the sides also exchanged views on future joint plans, as well as ongoing international events.
