The document approves the Standard Regulation on the public inspector of hunting supervision, according to which:

  • the activities of public inspectors can be carried out in the structure of public hunting associations that have passed state registration with the judicial authorities;
  • the number of inspectors is determined based on the number of hunting associations and their location;
  • inspectors act on a voluntary basis, an employment contract is not concluded with them, and this activity is not counted in the length of service;
  • inspectors can be involved in the performance of functions only in their free time from their main work;
  • the application is considered within 30 days by the governing body of the hunting association together with representatives of the Ministry of Ecology, Forestry Agency, internal affairs bodies;
  • upon approval of the application, a person is issued a corresponding certificate for a period of 3 years.

The main tasks of the public inspector:

  • notification of state agencies responsible for nature protection, as well as hunting associations, about violations in the field of wildlife use;
  • participation together with authorized inspectors in the field of nature protection in patrol raids aimed at prevention and detection of offenses in the field of;
  • notification of law enforcement agencies about strangers and suspicious persons in border areas, etc.

The Regulation on special short-term courses on teaching the rules of safe use of weapons, which provides for the procedure, has also been approved:

  • admission to courses;
  • determining the scope of the curriculum;
  • issuance of the relevant certificate;
  • maintaining a register of persons who have completed the courses.
