The head of the Turkish Defense Ministry conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the Leader of Uzbekistan.

Current issues of further deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye in implementing the agreements reached during the high-level visit to Ankara on June 5-6 this year were considered.

Prospects for developing military and military-technical cooperation, including close interdepartmental interaction, organizing joint events, training military specialists, and others, were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to strengthening and coordinating security cooperation and countering terrorism, extremism, and radicalism.

Views were exchanged on ensuring peace and stability in the region, including the situation in Afghanistan.
