    On November 20, the appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Gayrat Fozilov, presented a copy of his credentials to Hans Akerbum, Director of the Protocol and Affairs Department of the Dutch Foreign Ministry.

    During the meeting, the parties noted with satisfaction the developing ties and the dynamic nature of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Netherlands in the political, diplomatic, interparliamentary, trade, economic and investment spheres, the Dunyo news agency reports.

    A positive assessment was given to the results of the next round of inter-ministerial political consultations held in Tashkent in April this year, and the readiness to give this mechanism a regular character was also emphasized.

    During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on the further plans of the parties within the framework of bilateral and multilateral formats, as well as the schedule of upcoming contacts and events at various levels.

    Hans Akerbum confirmed the readiness of the Protocol Department to provide full support and assistance in the activities of the Embassy, including in strengthening the Uzbek-Dutch dialogue.

    Recall that on November 14, Gayrat Fazilov presented his credentials to the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, as the head of the Mission of Uzbekistan to the EU.

    On February 7, 2024, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Gairat Fazilov presented his credentials to King Philippe of the Belgians in Brussels.
