The Japanese delegation was represented by Director General Okuda Takefumi and his colleagues Tanaka Satomi and Sarvar Mirvasidov.
This meeting became a platform for discussing future investment and development projects that can significantly strengthen Uzbekistan's IT infrastructure and expand its international presence.
MIKADO Development and Investment Co., Ltd is an Uzbek LLC with Japanese roots, founded by Kenburn LLC. The company provides consulting services to Japanese enterprises that are considering foreign markets for further investment in them, as well as organizes seminars and web marketing services for potential investors. Being represented in several Asian countries, MIKADO is actively involved in international activities.
The main purpose of the meeting was to strengthen ties and explore opportunities for cooperation between IT Park Uzbekistan and MIKADO Development and Investment Co., Ltd. Mr. Okuda intends to join forces with IT Park to raise awareness of Japanese companies about the opportunities of the technology sector of Uzbekistan among Japanese companies, as well as jointly attract investments into the IT ecosystem of our country.
The Japanese partners were particularly interested in the competent legislative framework of Uzbekistan, which provides ease of conducting export-oriented business, as well as opportunities for investment in the region and future employment of IT and BPO specialists. Given the level of Japanese language proficiency among our compatriots, this factor is one of the most attractive for companies in the land of the rising Sun.
In the future, MIKADO will act as foreign direct investment consultants and representatives of the IT Park in Japan, becoming a link between the IT and BPO sectors of our countries.
The parties agreed to develop a joint action plan aimed at strengthening ties and realizing the potential of cooperation. Partnership with MIKADO can open new horizons for IT Park Uzbekistan, increase its visibility in the international arena and help attract investments into the Uzbek economy.
