According to the Report, in his congratulatory message posted on the website of the press service, the Tajik leader stressed that in recent years the situation in the world has been rapidly becoming more complicated, and the threats and dangers of our time, including terrorism, extremism and cybercrime, are becoming more serious.
"In such a turbulent time, we must always be on guard and ready to defend our independence and freedom so that we are not taken by surprise. Ensuring security, peace and stability in the country is not only one of the priorities of the Government's policy, but also the primary task of every patriotic citizen of the country," the President's message reads.
He also noted that the countries of the world are facing the consequences of climate change, such as droughts, natural disasters and the spread of infectious diseases.
