According to the Regulation, permits for the extraction of precious metals by prospectors are issued for subsurface areas approved annually by the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources.
At the same time, the subsurface area will be placer gold deposits up to 5 hectares in size with reliable, clear contours and boundaries.
The subsoil plots will be put up on the portal "E-auksion", the starting price of one hectare of which will be determined in the amount of 35 BRV (9 million 450 thousand soums).
Permits are issued based on the results of the auction in the "E-auction" system only to residents of Uzbekistan for three years.
Those who have received a permit must notify in writing the local authorities, the Committees for Ecology and Environmental Protection, Industrial Safety, the Inspection for the Control of Mining and Geological Activities before starting excavations.
The extracted precious metals are sold to the acceptance offices of entrepreneurs who produce jewelry, the legal channel of the Ministry of Justice reports.
