At the beginning of the conversation, the guest received detailed information about the activities of the Legislative Chamber in the field of lawmaking, the main tasks of committees, commissions and deputies, as well as about the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026, adopted on the basis of the principle "From action strategy to Development Strategy".
In turn, the Ambassador expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Legislative Chamber and members of Parliament for the meeting, noted that the activities of the Parliament are of great importance in the domestic and foreign policy of the state, its stable development in socio-economic, political and other spheres.
E. Leclair also stressed that being an ambassador to our country is not only a great pride, but also places a great responsibility on her. In her opinion, Uzbekistan shows itself as a leading country in Central Asia and occupies an important place in ensuring a stable situation in the region.
At the meeting, the Ambassador noted that as a result of the political will and initiatives of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, along with the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country, the position and authority of Uzbekistan in the world community are rising to a higher level, E. Leclair expressed her readiness to contribute to the implementation of these reforms.
At the meeting, held in a constructive spirit, the parties agreed to implement appropriate measures by exchanging views not only between the two countries, but also on the development of other areas and directions.
