The event
brought together more than 200 delegates and reflected the steady positive
dynamics of bilateral cooperation: over the past eight years, trade between the
two countries has doubled.
Currently,
37 enterprises with Czech capital are successfully operating in the republic,
forming a solid foundation for further expansion of the partnership.
Special
attention at the forum was paid to the investment potential of Uzbekistan. It
was noted that by the end of 2025, the country's gross domestic product
exceeded 145 billion dollars. Representatives of the Czech business expressed
their willingness to introduce innovative solutions in industry and the
transport sector, considering Uzbekistan as a strategic platform for entering
the markets of Central Asia.
Following
the results of the forum, a package of agreements was signed covering such
areas as mechanical engineering, infrastructure modernization and education
development. An important element of the cooperation was the agreement with the
Czech Export Bank and the insurance corporation EGAP, which provides
preferential loans and risk insurance for the implementation of joint high-tech
projects.
The forum
ended with direct negotiations in G2B and B2B formats with the participation of
leading companies and banks of the two countries. During the meetings, the
parties discussed practical steps to implement joint initiatives and further
deepen economic cooperation.
